Food Hunting in Ipoh Part 2

It was already 3.30pm after we finished filling up our tummies at Nam Heong, and the worst thing is that it has started to rain heavily! Which means we had to cancel our plan to the Kek Lok Tong and we went to Ipoh Parade and also the 100 yen shop opposite of Ipoh Parade instead.

Later at night, we went to the very famous Lou Wong Nga Choi Gai (Lou Wong Taugeh Chicken) for our dinner. As usual, the shop is packed with people, but i guess we were lucky and we managed to get a table quite easily. Both the steamed chicken and the bean sprouts are nice, though a bit salty and a bit too oily, but it's ok with me as i personally favour salty food.. :p As for the pork balls and fish balls, hmm...my taste buds do not really like them. :p

Since this is a family makan trip, so it's all about eating, eating and eating! We stopped at Yee Hup for awhile to buy my favourite Hiong Piah and then we proceeded to Tong Shui Gai (Desserts Street) for supper! hehe..bet i'm gonna gain a few more kilos after this trip, sob.. >.<

There are so many stalls in Tong shui gai, so many that we didn't know which one to choose. However, we randomly ordered some steamed cockles, rojak, tau fu fah, fruit juices and also some mixed fruits ais kacang. Well, i guess the next time we should get some recommendations from our ipoh friends as to which stalls and which food to choose because this time, it was quite a disappointment.
